WM-Bus to LoRaWAN™ network
Since the first introduction of Wireless M-Bus, it has been one of the most widely accepted international standards for the remote reading of water, gas, heat and electricity meter data. Although it is a step towards remote reading solution, it is still a costly and time demanding solution compared with the newer solutions on the market.
Nordic Automation Systems has released LoRaWAN™ WM-Bus Bridge, a device that solves this problem with out switching out existing meters. Being one of the first in connecting WM-Bus devices to LoRaWAN™ network, WM-Bus Bridge is a true retrofit device that connects up to 16 WM-Bus devices over LoRaWAN™ to a long range network.
WM-Bus Bridge will collect data from meters and forwards it to a LoRaWAN™ network where it is available at the desirable frequency of once a day or every hour (in specific cases even more frequently).
LoRaWAN™ WM-Bus Bridge supports almost all of the WM-Bus link modes and transmits the full WM-Bus frame.
Main features:
- Supports the following WM-Bus Link Modes: S1, S1-m, S2, T1, T2, R2, C1 T-A, C2 T-A, C1 T-B, C2 T-B
- Transmits the full WMBus frame
